EU Forced Labour Regulation

The new EU Forced Labour Regulation (FLR) represents a global effort to combat human rights abuses in international supply chains. Political Shift in EU Parliament Puts Forest Protection Law at Risk

The regulation, which mandates that companies verify their products are deforestation-free and compliant with national laws, faced significant amendments proposed by the European People’s Party (EPP), which critics argue could undermine the regulation’s effectiveness.
